Every keyword in Korvex is automatically classified by search intent during the daily collection cycle.
Intent Types
| Intent | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Informational | User wants to learn something | "what is SEO" |
| Navigational | User wants a specific site or page | "google search console login" |
| Transactional | User wants to buy or take action | "buy SEO tools" |
| Commercial | User is researching before buying | "best SEO platforms 2026" |
How Classification Works
- New keywords added to tracking are queued for intent classification
- The intent classification phase processes unclassified keywords daily
- A multi-LLM consensus approach determines the intent
- Results are stored and visible on the Keywords page
Using Intent in Strategy
- Filter keywords by intent on the Keywords page to focus your content strategy
- Informational keywords → Create educational content (guides, how-tos)
- Transactional keywords → Optimise product/service pages with strong CTAs
- Commercial keywords → Build comparison content and review pages
Strategy Integration
The Strategy Board uses intent classification to prioritise recommendations. Transactional keywords with high search volume but poor rankings are flagged as high-priority quick wins.
