The Alert Manager lets you set up automated monitoring rules that trigger notifications when key SEO metrics cross defined thresholds.

Alert Types

  • Ranking alerts — Notify when a keyword drops/gains more than N positions
  • Traffic alerts — Notify when organic traffic changes by more than N% week-over-week
  • Score alerts — Notify when Koray or E-E-A-T scores drop below a threshold
  • Competitor alerts — Notify when a competitor starts ranking for your tracked keywords
  • Technical alerts — Notify on crawl errors, indexing issues, or page speed degradation

Setting Up Alerts

  1. Navigate to the Alerts page
  2. Click Create Alert
  3. Choose the metric type and configure the threshold
  4. Set the severity level (Info, Warning, Critical)
  5. Choose notification channels (email, dashboard badge)

Alert History

All triggered alerts are logged with timestamp, metric values, and resolution status. Use the history to identify patterns — for example, recurring traffic drops on specific days may indicate a scheduling or caching issue.

Tips

  • Start with conservative thresholds and tighten them as you understand normal variation.
  • Set Critical alerts only for metrics that require immediate action.
  • Review alert history weekly to identify false positives and adjust thresholds.
